love and peace never goes out of fashion
there are not many things that irk me, i am very understanding and
patient, but ................ i feel that the time has come for us to get off the negative ride that
the hippie culture has been labeled with. we all do it almost automatically because we are programmed like sheep
to go in the direction that the barking dog dictates it is a total tragedy for our global culture that we the people have
swallowed the crap conversation that has been fed to us by those whose
power and control agenda was challenged by the awakening that took
place in the 60's and 70's - love and peace never goes out of fashion
and is always relevant - it is a tragedy that the contribution of a whole generation was
sacrificed on the alter of war and greed what happened - the world burst into flames, flames of joy, colour ,
celebration, music, art, joy and H O P E for the possibility that we
human beings could at last live together in peace and live by true
values - the Berlin wall came down the iron curtain dissolved and
those whose interests lay in maintaining warfare began to quake and
they hit back with the memes - dirty hippies druggies etc they stomped
all over the culture made celebrating illegal under the guise of the
nonsense of health and safety and we the people brought right into it. fascism uses the fears and dissatisfaction of ordinary people like you
and me to plant its roots in our psyche and slowly through self
justification reclaim the culture to exploit it for its dark agenda,
giving us a scapegoat for our dissatisfaction - its happening right
now in front of our eyes and we are going along with it - the smiky,
snydy remarks about hippies the complaints about the fact the someone
might have the audacity to play music and dance in the streets while
no one says anything about the noisy traffic and helicopters belching
and imposing their toxic exhalation into our lungs while really the truth is that the hippies got it right - the values
embraced by hippiedom are true and healthy .m the so called counter
culture is in fact the culture, the future possibility where love,
peace, health, children, community,and the appreciation and enjoyment
of life. While those values embraced by those who criticize, label
and ridicule those who have had the courage and wherewith all to
embrace a new paradigm mostly contribute to the ongoing problems of
our world and are accelerating the demise of the human species, Its time for us to get off it, not just because actually its the right
and the intelligent thing to do, but also because our future and the
future of our children depends on it the dinosaurs became extinct because their culture was no longer
sustainable - we are no different! The hippies got it right - say it it LOUD and clear shake off your
programming - awaken!
